I figured I'd put a positive looking journal on my front page. So here it is!

Just made a huge investment on a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens, and I tell ya... it was worth every penny! The IS is excellent since I'm sure that at 200+mm I would probably get blur even in full daylight. The thing also focuses fast (as long as it isn't a weird photo, like dark or lots of detail... works great for trying to get someone out of a group of people). After tasting IS, my (not really so) old stock lens just seems too "prehistoric". I got my eye on a 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM now.

Anyways, I've now been renewed in my motivation to shoot things. So I've been a snappin fool. Here's 2 new submissions for the 2 people that will probably see them. It's late and I have a mid term tomorrow... so Good Night dA!

Blegh... I haven't had the motivation to shoot anything or even post anything. I have a few good shots that I want to put up sometime, just no motivation. Maybe if I sleep enough I'll get on my lazy ass and do it.

Anyways, I've been playing around with a new Intuos3 tablet, maybe we'll see some submissions under digital art. Who knows. I need to figure out how to draw again. That'll take a bit... It was an excellent purchase, I'd highly recommend it.

What's going on? I finally got a new camera! Say goodbye to pseudo-point and shoot fuji FinePix, hello to Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi. Time to upload all of the pictures from my old camera that I always wanted to, but never really felt like.

Some older pictures may be moved to scraps. Changes are afoot! So many things to buy, so much stuff to photograph, so many possibilities... and a lot of time to do so. So..... things will be happening. Thanks to anyone that might read this actually
